‘Hat-trick’ nomination for the Maldives at the 29th Annual World Travel Awards (WTA)

The Maldives celebrates yet another achievement as the Golden Jubilee year draws toward the end, at the 29th Annual World Travel Awards (WTA) the Maldives was nominated for “World’s Leading Destination” which is the most prestigious title at the awards. This year marks the third consecutive nomination for the World’s leading destination award, the Maldives was also nominated for various other prestigious titles by the WTA like the World’s Leading Destination, World’s Leading Island Destination, and World’s Most Romantic Destination. The Maldives is on track for a potential ‘hat-trick’ after its win in 2020 and 2021. Considering the global industry WTA’s World’s Leading Destination title is undoubtedly the most renowned and comprehensive award bestowed upon any destination.
