At the ADEX Ocean Mission 2023, Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) and its business partners showcased the beauty of Maldivian seascapes and diving adventures. The expo was held in the Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore from March 31 to April 2, 2023.
ADEX offers exhibitors a stage to present their goods and services in addition to its decorated audience. As a result, dive operators, equipment producers, national tourism organizations, and diving locations around the world pay a lot of attention. MMPRC took advantage of the chance to promote and raise awareness of the Maldives as a possible and preferred diving location.
The exhibition was a great place to observe the attitudes of divers and diving enthusiasts from the Southeast Asian (SEA) markets, in order to gather market intelligence aimed toward a specialized group. This will then enable MMPRC to promote and draw tourists from this market segment to the Maldives.
Participating in the ADEX also supported MMPRC’s initiatives to make the Maldives a popular tourism destination in Southeast Asia, notably among Singaporeans. It also offered a significant platform at one of the biggest dive conventions in the world to highlight the magnificent diving and underwater experiences available in the Maldives. MMPRC’s CEO and MD, Thoyyib Mohamed, was scheduled to speak and he did so, highlighting MMPRC’s initiatives to encourage environmentally friendly diving and tourism businesses.
