Top Italian Journalists experience Maldivian hospitality firsthand
The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC / Visit Maldives) has invited journalists from well-known Italian publications to experience the world-class hospitality and luxury that awaits visitors on the Sunny Side of Life. From March 26 through April 2, 2023, a crew of journalists will visit the Maldives. The team will become fully immersed in the distinctive encounters, goods, and renowned service standards of the Maldives while there. This journey is being organized in partnership with Turkish Airlines.
The squad includes five journalists and one public relations representative from MMPRC’s Italian PR firm, Tourism Hub. Over the course of the familiarisation trip, the crew stayed at Nika Island Resort, Ayada Maldives, and Siyam World. They had Maldivian cooking classes, spa and wellness treatments, tree planting, watersports, and tours of fascinating places on the islands, among other things. At every stage of the journey, the journalists will share their experiences with their large audiences via online articles on social media platforms publications. This campaign will help boost the Maldives’ visibility as a must-see destination in the Italian market. The generated content is anticipated to have a staggering reach of 20,233,602 with the combined media members.
With a number of campaigns and promotions, MMPRC hopes to increase arrivals from Western Europe this year, where Italy presently ranks fourth globally for inbound travelers to the Maldives.
