One of the most critical factors in the tourism service industry is the close interaction with consumers and adapting to their needs, Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC / Visit Maldives) has gone above and beyond to connect with consumers on the ground level. On the 28th of September MMPRC concluded the Tourism Marketeers Evening 2022 with a massive response, the event was held at Meeruma. The purpose of this event was to collect data that will help boost brand visibility for the Maldives, ideas, feedback, and opinions were collected from the industry stakeholders in the matters of marketing strategies as their input has been proved to be a key component in the strategic planning of MMPRC. The event was attended by a total of 41 professionals holding positions like Managing Directors and General Managers.
In his statement Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of MMPRC, MR Thoyyib Mohamed emphasized the importance of collaborating with industry partners while crafting strategies for the Maldives. The Tourism Marketeers Evening was full of discussions on different marketing activities and the exchange of information and ideas on promotional material.
By the end of August MMPRC has conducted 3 roadshows across 7 cities, 12 social media campaigns and over 30 travel fairs to showcase the Maldives as the World’s leading destination.
